OSCAR AWARDS 2014

Hi there!
I suppose you already know that yesterday something very important happened. It occurs every year around March: The Oscar Awards! I don't know if you really like American movies. I used to go to the cinema more often but, now, with its high price I prefer watching them from my sofa and with no people shouting and eating popcorns around me ;)

To be honest, I haven't seen any of the nominated films this year and the only motivation of these awards was the outfit of the celebrities, haha. I am really into fashion ♥ and what they wear at Oscar awards is an advance of the colours and designs for the next months.
I saw a picture that I enjoyed quite a lot. I hope you like it. See you!!!

NOISES

Hi there!
I must thank Iris and Desirée for their comments. It's a pleasure that you read my blog ♥

This new unit at school deals with the topic of noise and we have been talking about those noises that seem unbearable and really bothering for us. As I told you in class, I can't stand the noise of the tram at night. In addition, I can hear the voice of a woman welcoming the passengers to "Tranvía de Zaragoza"!!! It's as if I lived at the tram stop. Horrible, I promise.

But, I know there are more terrible noises that often make people lose their temper. I have been investigating and the result is that during the history of humanity, at least the history that has been recorded somewhere, there have been noises that have become "the loudest noises" ever.

1. Rock concerts. The level of decibels is really worrying!
2. Fireworks. At this point I may say that I hate them. I find them unnecessary and, sure, they are extremely dangerous for our hearing.
3. Gunfire. No words to explain this. Just imagine...
4. Space shuttle launch. WOW! This must be so shocking...

5. The blue whales. You are reading well. Researchers agree that they emit a sound of more than 180 decibels and it travels underwater.

6. Earthquakes. That's true. The quantity of noise provoked may be impossible to quantify.

I have taken all this info from this page:  http://listverse.com/2007/11/30/top-10-loudest-noises/
You may find more loud noises, as I have selected only 6. The most shocking for me.

I wish you a nice Sunday evening and...see you tomorrow!!!

Ici, un poster que j'aime bien ;) Nous pouvons faire un poster similaire!

Oh, la, la!!! ;)

Bonjour mes élèves!
It's been ages since I haven't written a line here. The reason is that I am extremely overwhelmed with many things, but...I am ready to start over and dedicate some minutes to make you learn a bit of English.
Today, I am pleased to announce that apart from teaching English, I am going to teach another language: le français. I feel very excited as I love all languages but French is one of my favourite ones.

French is a nice language. I really enjoy listening to someone speaking French. It seems so romantic and musical! The good news is that it is similar to Spanish in many aspects. In others, they are veeery different, unfortunately. I hope I can attract your attention in French as well as I try to do in English.

I have come across a video in French about one of my addictions: coffee. As I work so many hours, I need to overcome the day and Je bois du café trois ou quatre fois quelques jours. I know it's not very healthy but...my body begs me drinking coffee!!
I hope you like the video...it's really representative.

Bisous!

HAPPY NEW YEAR♥

Happy New Year, readers!
I hope you have enjoyed enough to leave some words on the blog.
Christmas is finishing...and it always turns me into a kind of nostalgic person. I suppose that on Tuesday I'll be back to my routine and my nostalgia will have finished ☺
Today, it's time for the Three Wise Men (or Magi) to come! Are you waiting for them? I usually attend their parade in Zaragoza. It's so funny and nice to see how children enjoy and expect their arrival with a big smile!

Could you believe? I have some acquaintances and close friends who don't differenciate them!!! Just in case, I sum up:

Melchior: He is the one with white beard and hair. He wears a gold cloak. He is the King of Arabia and represents the gold brought to Jesus.

Gaspar: He is the brown-haired man. In some pictures, I would describe the colour as red, but he is known because of brown beard. Different points of view, I guess. He wears a green cloak. He is the King of Sheba and represents the Frankincense brought to Jesus.

Balthazar (my favourite one!!!♥): He has black skin and hair. He wears a purple cloak. He is the King of Egypt. He represents the gift of Myrrh brought to Jesus.

If you want to know more about their story, I recommend you to click here --> http://www.dltk-bible.com/cv/the_wise_men.htm

I wish you happiness and good moments altogether during this 2014. For me, it is a special year.

Lots of hugs.
